Lucy: Part2

Lucy was shocked to find her dad watching her like a hawk. It was like he didn't want her to be alone and all she wanted to do was go to the beach.
She had realised that it would be harder to get away than she thought but she had an idea.
"Lucy, we're going down to breakfast. Are you ready?" her dad called through the closed door.
"I'll meet you down there, I'm not quite ready yet" she called back. Of course it was a lie, she was standing looking out of her balcony window fully dressed. She had been ready for hours but had been so quiet that no one had known she was awake.
"okay, be quick" her dad replied.
Lucy made her way downstairs five minutes later. Knowing that her dad and his wife would be at the back of the hotel, she knew she wouldn't be spotted but she still hurried down the corridors and out of the hotel. As soon as she got out the door, she ran. Lucy knew where the beach was from her hotel, only round the corner, and she ran and ran until her feet were padding on the sand. That's when she took her shoes off and just stood there.
"what do you think you are doing?" a voice said from behind her. She didn't want to look round. She just froze.
