Sights We Don't Want To See

Death flashes before our eyes,
Someone telling horrifying lies,
A murder with a knife or gun,
Just because they think it's fun,
A place of fighting and a war,
Though there's nothing that's worth fighting for,
A loss of someone that we know,
Grief, distress and great sorrow,
It's not fair that we see these things,
Who knows what the future brings...
