When it snows on Christmas Eve,
And it's the first snow that you've seen,
All winter long,
You know that at midnight you'd here a loud loud gong,
The sound that only happens,
When a wonderful Christmas Eve ends,
Your left then feeling distraught,
Because you know that life has taught,
That on Christmas Day tears must be shed,
Whether its about not getting a blue sled,
Or because the Barbie's a brunette and not blonde,
Or maybe it's cause Prince Charming won't appear with the flick of a wand,
Either way you'll always know,
On Christmas Eve if there is snow,
You've got to stay up late,
To hear the midnight gong state,
THAT CHRISTMAS IS HERE
