The next day Adam and I flew out to the Maldives for our honeymoon. As soon as we stepped of the plane, we felt the heat hit us. The Tarmac had wavering lines above it, due to the heat, distorting everything directly above it. We quickly hailed a cab, just to be out of the heat. Thankfully the hotel was well air-conditioned, we both sighed in relief as the cool air embraced us. We walked slowly to our room enjoying the cool relief, from the humidity outside. When we opened to door to our room we were greeted by a room that looked like it was straight out of the adverts. Inside was white walls and was stylishly decorated, and when I went to the doors that lead outside I squealed excitedly as I saw there was an infinity pool. Our friends and family had all chipped in together to help us afford our luxury honeymoon. Adam crept up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, I span round to face him, he kissed me softly and then looked at the huge white bed and then looked back at me and smiled playfully. Later after we had come back from dinner, I stripped down to my bra and pants and bombed into the pool, followed shortly by Adam. We both laughed together and swan to the edge to look out over the ocean. The moon hung low in the sky and was bigger that we had ever seen it, it illuminated the dark blue sea, highlighting the crests of the waves. As it got later we heard the tree frogs chirping to one another and the sound of waves gently crashing onto the beach below. I turned to Adam and wrapped my arms around his neck. The pool was shallow enough for us to both stand. He looked deeply into my eyes and whispered, 'do you want to try for a baby?' he asked almost seeming shy, and then quickly said 'but I don't want to push you... If your not ready ' I placed my hands on his face and kissed him to stop his backtracking. I looked him in the eyes and smiled, 'I'm ready if you are.' With that he picked me up and span me round and round, 'I love you Adam.' I shouted gleefully as he span us faster and faster. ©
