Chapter 1: Summer camp
'No! I won't go. Not ever!' We stood in the kitchen, facing each other, my mum and I. She was holding a leaflet, and was getting frustrated now. 'I'm not giving you a choice!' she shouted. My mum is the kind of person who gets what they want. What she wanted then, was for me to go to a summer camp, for 4 weeks, because her and my dad are going on holiday to Tunisia. My little sister will be going with them, as they think that she is too young to go to a camp without her parents. 'Why can't I come with you on holiday?' I asked. 'Because I say so!' my mum snapped back.
