I am me
That's all I'll ever be
Nothing much
And nothing more
I'm not a lot to take in
I'm a average person
As you can say
But look beyond features
And I'm a mystery
A jungle unexplored
Mythical creatures wander my mind
Each person I see
A story unfolds
You see there is no one like me
Some say I'm crazy
I say it runs in the family
My mind is over imaginative
Not a dull husk
I paint neon splatter pictures
Not a Mona Lisa
I do what I wish
Not when in told though
My head is stubborn
My heart is steel
My words may be vicious
Only when your curious
My words can be soft
If I wish it
You see I'm myself
