Door Into Surrealism

The journey where you're imagination roams free
Surrounded with fantasy and reverie
Simplistic and beautiful
Or complex and charming
How quite diverse this land is, it's slightly alarming
But I sit and lay in the wake
Just for imagination's sake
Skies can be blue, or red, or green
Jello, or jelly, or marmalade seas
Penguins can fly, and so can you
Daylight or night time, whatever will do.
Should I open the door to this world?
It seems like everything in life is hurled
At me and aimed straight for the face
Feeling like the spikes on a mace
And just to escape and feel the surrealism take hold
To do so and leave life..
Is a move quite bold.
