With your birthday approaching,
I sat to form the words,
That express my inner feelings,
Words that, as yet, don't exist,
Not in any culture,
Words the lack common sense,
words in love songs from the future,
Then I dawned on me,
Why must it be your birthday,
When I've loved you all the way,
From the very first day,
This is something,
I should always say.
