Earth Rumbling #8

I cry every night now. Screaming for Mama to rescue me. Heres what happened;

Susie took me from the apartment and we are now in some house, but I don't know where it is because I was smuggled through in a van for what seemed like hours. This 'house' is spotlessly clean and Susie makes me call her 'Mommy' all the time. She dresses me every morning and every 2 days she cuts my nails, and it's so sore because they haven't even grown back. She wears all these floral dresses and red lipstick. She scares me.

Anyway, every night I cry for Mama and Papa. And with each whimper I receive an almighty slap. It stings and I scream. Then she keeps doing it, over and over..... Its never ending.
I want to leave so badly. Hold on! Maybe I could! I should run....and keep running, to Mama.

I creep down the hallway. Susie is in the kitchen cooking, yet again. She force feeds me too.
I tiptoe up to the back door. Take one single step outside and close the door with a gentle 'click'.
I start to run. Suddenly I am being choked back. Susie had caught me by the back of my collar.

'Now where do you think your going, my pretty?'
says Susie, raising a kitchen knife.
