Everyone's talented - but if you judge a fish on it's ability to climb a tree, it'll go through life believing it's stupid.

@Burrfoot: The analogy here is stating that everyone is talented, and people need to bring that out. It's about judging people on what they're good at rather than what they have no interest or desire in.
Yeah, not Einstein's finest moment.. He should have stuck with the effect on the judge rather than a fish which will not be affected by the way it's judged on its tree climbing exploits and will continue being very good at swimming.. Whereas the judge will miss the appreciation of its talent
@Burrfoot: Yes, excellent way of looking at it. :). There are situations in life where talents is not recognised nor harnessed. As you quite rightly say, that is partly the judges loss.
