As I look back in sorrow
At the days we spent so free

I lie here in the dark, Our bed is vast & still such a comfort to Me, Though not to not have You in it feels like such a cruel taunt, I fancy You there, in the dark always just out of reach.
I see you. I see you. I see you in my shadow past. I see you in my unknowing future. I see you in the memories that hang on the wall. I see you in my mothers courage. I see you in my sisters tears.
The days pass so quickly, though nights last forever. Our house is so empty, though it is still so full of us. Everything is as it always was, and yet, not as it was.
