Snow sparkles outside my window.
Ice gleams in the bright sunshine
Crystalized trees glimmer
It will go away, sometime.
For now, the snowmen wave at me.
Sleds make patterns in white fluff.
More wet, heavy snow falls...
6 inches is not enough!
Kids laugh, play in this wonderland
Making snow angels all day.
Glitter is done falling,
And no more is on it's way.
Slowly, kids trudge away from here,
As dusk aproaches my home.
A silver moon pops out,
Bringing light to the packed foam.
Traces of the past day linger,
I can almost hear laughter.
Footprints make memories,
In this snowy yard, even after...
