Missing In The Night- Part 3.

It's very short, but oh well. I included the last sentence of the last part.

Something's going on with that girl, I thought, and I'm going to find out...

..........................................................................................................................

The next day, I woke up, and remembered the nights events. Where was she going? There had to be some sort of explanation... Maybe she had a weak bladder... No, why would she have been in that room if she had? It wasn't a bathroom! Or maybe she was a witch, and practised sorcery and witchcarft every night... Nah, that's too weird. Then where was she going?

We all went down to breakfast, and I told the others of my midnight conversation.

"That's twice now!" muttered Charlotte looking thoughtful, "don't you wonder where she goes?"

"Well no, genius." Said Izabel, rolling her eyes. "We all do! How's about we follow her if she goes tonight?!"

"What about me?" Said Alex, "I'm not in your dorm!"

"We'll, you'll have a great story to look forward to then, won't you?" Laughed Izzy as the bell rang for first lesson.

Oh how morning dragged, I was so bored I fell asleep in history! Megan had to elbow me awake... However, I perked up at lunch!

Amy's english class were in the library for the first time, and right at the end, just as the bell went, guess who walked in? Yes, the mysterious Miss Coates! Amy hung back to eavesdrop on her converstion with the librarian, Mrs Gigglesworth...

"Hello Sophie, how is she?" Asked the librarian in a hushed voice.

"Still really upset Miss, I hate leaving her alone..." She replied quietly.

"Can she sleep ok yet?"

"No, she still can't get to sleep alone, poor thing."

"She's so young compared to the rest of them... Has she said who's doing it yet?"

"No, and I keep asking her, but I think she's too scared to say... The girls I share my dorm with are getting suspicious too, that Jemma Tresswell's caught me out of bed twice already."

It was at this point that Amy wandered over to the desk and asked to take out a book, giving Sophie a suspicious look. According to her, Sophie scuttled off to the other end of the library to read alone.

"The question is though, who are they on about?" I said thoughtfully when Amy told us.

"I think we all want to know that Jem!" Georgia said.

"I'm gonna find out where she goes if it kills me!" I said seriously, and my chance came in the common room that very evening.

I saw Sophie sneak out of the door. I decided to follow, and crept after her. She eventually stopped infront of a door at the end of the hall, knocked and went in. But just as I was about to dart after her, I was spotted.

By none other, than Miss Inglish, head of discipline. Great, I thought, and tuned to face her.

"What are you doing here girl?" She barked. "These are the teachers quarters!"

"I'm so sorry miss" I said innocently, "I got lost going back to my common room."

"Lets take you back then, I'm going that way." She said and set off back down the corridor. I gave the door Sophie had disappeard behind a glare.
"Come along child!" Snapped Miss Inglish, "I haven't got all day!"

..........................................................................................................................

I got outside the common room, thanked Miss Inglish through gritted teeth, and went in. I was immediately cornered by the gang.

"Where on earth have you been?" Said Izzy pulling me into a bone crushing hug, "someone said Miss Inglish caught you in the teachers area!"
