11:11 Chapter 7

All I remember from the night before is Aunt Rotelle in the kitchen, trying to shave my cat. Today is Saturday! But Abby isn't coming over.. Oh I bet your wondering about the mysterious envelope from Josh's dad? Hmm..? Well his family is having a party at their house. My dad probably wants me to go with him so.. Yeah, I'll be the only person there that I'll know! Yay!
I walk downstairs and into the kitchen to get some breakfast. As if on cue my aunt comes out of her room. Once again she tells me how tall I've gotten and how "grown up" I look. Ugh. Kill me now!? As soon as I finish eating I bolt up the stairs, into my room, and I lock my door.
I check my phone.
"You have one new message!" It's says cheerily.
It's from Racheal! I need something to cheer me up.
(Texting)
"Heyy." From Racheal.
"Hai." From me.
"Wazzap!?" From Racheal.
"Oh nothing really.. Hbu?" From me.
"Nothing.." From Racheal.
"That's cool." From me.
"You wanna know who's at the top of my terrorist list?" From Racheal.
"Yeah! Hopefully it's not me though, Lol." From me.
"I bet you can guess who it is..?" From Racheal.
"Is it Larsen?" From me.
"Haha! You guessed it!" From Racheal.
"I know you so well!" From me.
"Yeah, I gotta go.. Ttyl?" From Racheal.
"Yeah totally." From me.
Ugh! I wish she wouldn't have had to leave! She makes me forget about the bad things that have happened today or yesterday.. She's that kind of person. She's the kind of friend who can figure out how to cheer you up, no matter how sad you are.. I wonder if any of you have friends like that..?
It's time for dinner. I'm starving! I practically run down the stairs, but when I get to the bottom I skid to a stop. There are two extra pairs of shoes sitting by our front door. I walk towards the living room and peek in.. Cody and his dad are here? But why? I walk into the kitchen.
"Hi Payton! Your just in time to help me make the cake!" My dad says with a wide smile.
"Uh, ok. What are we having?" I say.
"Well I decided to swing by the butcher and pick up some tenderloins for us to grill." He says.
"Cool," I say. "Can I talk to you for a second dad?" I glance into the living room at Cody and his dad.
"Yeah sure sweetie."
"Ok," I say as I drag him to the dinning room. "Why are they here?"
"Oh I invited them over for dinner and to watch the game. I thought it would be nice for you to spend some time with other people, besides your friends." He says, still smiling.
"Oh." I say shocked.
"Good glad your ok with it." And he walks out of the room, back into the kitchen.
Today is going to be a long day.
