All Quiet on the Opuss Front

Today has been a quiet day by all accounts for me on Opuss. I have written nothing, and had received no notices of likes or comments. One thing that has happened is I went down by 4 places in the ranking charts. That made me sad. It's a painful struggle trying to get into the top 100. I'm only ten away, but it's taking so long. Yesterday, when I was six away, I thought my goal was near. But today has proved that was not to be so. Not a happy day on that front.

As to why I haven't written much, I've been watching Fellowship of the Ring and looking through second-hand bookshops. I found a copy of The Maps of Tolkien's Middle-Earth for £6.50 when the cheapest price on Amazon (still second hand, mind you) was £17.08. It's a really nice book. I was very happy with that find. I was also writing my fantasy novel (so there will be an update this evening for those who follow the book's progress) so that took up a fair bit of my time. As I have said, once I reach 100 or higher in the ranks I will begin a new series. It will probably be my travelogue of my Iceland trip, a taster of which can be found in my last Opuss.
