Sat on my windowsill looking at a small rip in the clouds that had decided to open up, and the rain starting to stop, I thought about now quickly things could change. They could change in four minutes. Four minutes. Here we go again...
3 times I knocked and then I stood back not knowing what to do. The key on the other side started to sound like it was turning. Time seemed to be going slower than usual, what of it were her parents, what would I say?
The handle started to turn and the door started to open. I breathed heavily and hoped it was her. I opened my eyes and looked at the face staring at me, her sister. Her older sister thank god. Her sister and my brother get on really well, and want this to happen, so they'd be in laws or something. They are thinking too far ahead into this. I'm 13. I ain't getting married any time soon. But her sister smiled at me and said "I'll go get her for you". And she rushed upstairs to go get Katie. I took a step inside and closed the door quietly and waited. I waited for my death sentence. I waited for my love. I waited for a few minutes. There was a mumbled argument upstairs and then she came downstairs. I didnt know what to say, I just, froze. I froze and the four minutes began...
