Chapter 1
When I opened my eyes black covered the room like a blanket. I tried making my way over to the door, hands in front of me trying to feel for a wall. I felt a sharp pain in my shin, I let out a yelp as I fell to the ground letting out a long moan. Another moan followed mine from behind me making me jump a little bit. I felt around a bit with my hand and grasped silk. I yanked on in trying to get up but the silk came crashing down, covering me, I then realized it was a curtain. As I made my way out of the forest of silk my eyes met the white sunlight. I flowed into the room making all the colors seem richer. White sparkles cascaded off the chandelier (which was now oddly crooked), the yellow furniture reminded me of fresh picked dandelion, the crisp redness of the grand fireplace on the wall next to the window that was letting all the light in, like a hole in a bucket of water bur the water was sunlight. I could see all the individual rays through the dust flying through the air. I saw the whole room as I stood up. My shin was starting to bruise from where I hit it. As I looked around I saw 7 sleeping bodies scattered across the room, then I realized. I was an angry lion in a room of liars.
