Hope

You may feel as though it's over,
You may feel like giving up,
You may just feel like crying,
Though you feel that's not enough.

You seek something different,
To turn around the frown,
You feel as though you're nothing,
But it's just because you're down.

Time to feel the hope you have,
That lies so far within,
Drastic times call for drastic measures?
That statement is a sin.

I know how upsetting life can be,
You want to shake it out,
But keep your head up oh so high,
Whenever you're in doubt.

You're not blind it's just hard to see,
The greatness hiding in you.
There is always purpose and reason,
And that shall remain true.
