One of my favorite Holiday season songs is “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. That song always was on Mom and Dad’s playlist. Over the years, it has been recorded multiple times by as many artists. It is truly a classic. Written and performed by Frank Loesser in 1944, along with his wife Lynn. It was never intended to be a Christmas song. Frank subsequently sold the song to MGM, which infuriated his wife, because she considered it their song. My favorite artist performing the song was Tom Jones. You really get the feeling of the song when you hear Tom crooning along.
So sit back in front of the fire, with the one that makes your heart flutter, sip some egg nog and let Tom Jones get ya’ll into the Holiday spirit (Ho Ho Ho). Does this put me on Santa’s “Naughty” list?
