The scent that smells so sweet?

The sound that gives off peace?

If only we could go back
To the world that we once knew
To The world that weren't so black
To The world as white as snow

The world of peace and harmony
When fights and laws couldn't kill
When justice couldn't be bought
When love wasn't so cheap

Don't blame anyone
For the world we live in now
It was all our actions
That made this world so red

I used to be so hopeful
Towards the people around the world
But now I understand
The nature of us humans

Even if given another chance
To repair the damage
We would still destroy
What we have at hand

But think about it
Think of the world
The world in the past
And how it'll be in the future

Many have said
To leave a better world
For the people we'll leave behind
For the children waiting to be born

But have we ever considered
To teach our children
To leave better people
For this beautiful place?
