Panther

The darkened leopard, black as night,
Padding through forests of misty twilight,

Jade coloured leaves shiver as she passes,
Pools of moonlight still as crystal glasses,

The air of purest obsidian, glowing from her fur,
The amber eyed beast is as good as any lure,

Fangs dripping, hungry for kill,
Soon the hunt will be fulfilled,

A blur of claws and a frightened beast,
The prey will soon become her feast,

As she eats her fill, the hunger recedes,
The predator has satisfied her needs,
