Seuss

Collect those tears if you please;
After all they're memories,
Then stop at once, no need to cry
About the fate befallen. Why
Sob and wail at the end of a run
Instead of remembering all the fun?
The smiles and giggles, thrill of the race,
Precious moments you can't replace.
I think once a famous doctor said
-Though he wasn't a doctor (I've been misled)
He was really rather smart
And said many things from the heart-
Don't cry because it's over (that's very true)
Smile because it's happened (it's a treasure to you)

Sunbeams And Starlight

What do I see when I look at you. I see a radiant light. Shining from deep within you and lighting up the night. A little ray of sunshine. The odd moonbeam too. Picks out the twinkling starlight.
