Drugged Delight

My vision blurs in much delight,
Such a light, in the dark of night,
A shadowed figure, in the flesh,
My love, my life, he's the best,
I'd be throwing so much drama,
If in my hand was no banana,
I start to run, against the wind,
So happy my finger's ringed,
My hand appears upon a shoulder,
My mind's crushed by a boulder,
He's not coming, never will,
But he'll come if I take my pill.
