If I Saw You Earlier

Chapter 51

We walked to a cab again. This time we wanted to see the town. It was a short ride but it was fun to get there. People were all over the streets, the smell of freshly baked stuff was all over the place.

" I want to eat breakfast, want to join me?". We stopped in front of a bakery, it was a cafe as well so it was even better.

" sure, I am hungry!!". I said and we both smiled. We stepped in side. Business men and women stood in line. Probably for coffee. Others sat down reading a newspaper, while eating wonderful cakes.

We ordered fresh fruit salads and a piece of cake to share. We ate in silence at first then I looked up and James was looking at me.

" what?". I asked looking in his eyes. He smiled at me, we both knew I didn't like people looking at me . I was shy when it came to that.

" nothing, you look cute. That's all". He said smiling. Then he started to laugh.

" what now? James stop doing that". I said confused.
" a guy behind you spilled some coffee on his shirt and he turned red cause a women helped him wipe it off". He said looking at me so the guy wouldn't know James were talking about him.

" oh I see, what are we going up do after this?". I asked looking out side. The streets were so busy. People ran to work or started to open stores.

" we are going to walk around in town. And then we will buy you a great dress. Then we will go back to the hotel". He said in a happy voice.

All of that made me forget. About Eric, John, Cathy and Mark. I forgot about all of the stuff that happened. Why I am here for the first place.

And for the second time, I felt happy with James. Cause it was only me and him. So I smiled back.
