Falling

I never knew things could feel so terrible. I'd always wanted to do this, free fall from the sky as if nothing in the world mattered, but while falling, it seemed like everything mattered more.

The thing that popped into my mind most was how despised I was. I couldn't fathom what had turned people against me, but I couldn't walk into a room without someone who I had never met calling my name and heckling me. Then there was Double Trouble. Two absolute bitches. One skinny, one fat. Both thick. Chloe used to be my friend, you know, but she was only using me. I hated it. Sally I had hated from the start. A good call.

I hit the ground with a thud and a splat, and smiled as the last bit of air left my lungs. They wouldn't be bothering ME anymore.
