THIS THING CALLED LOVE Part 2

All too soon, it seems, we are adults and ready to experience this other kind of love, love of the tingling hot kind. Yes, being in love with a person of the opposite sex.
This love is so out of this world so to speak, that there is no rival. It is excitement, the expectation of being on a wonderful high, unconditional and bliss all rolled into one.
Close your eyes....and imagine that you are back at the very first time that you loved and knew that you were loved by someone. Excitement beyond reality, oh yes, just knowing that you would soon see and be with someone that you loved. When your eyes met across a room and your tummy did a flip. Once this love was returned, you were out of control, eating, sleeping and drinking this love. To only have eyes for this other 'perfect' person in your life. Your whole life is turned upside down and inside out, in your endeavour to please and experience magical moments with your love. Nothing, but nothing and definitely no one makes sense, except this thing called love.
Have you experienced wonderful walks at dusk along the beach, so in love that just being alone and walking hand in hand says it all?
The picnics alone when both are trying to please each other and to taste each others taste.
The magic goes on and on and you find yourself being protected from harm, a coat being draped around your shoulders when you are cold, never mind that he too is cold.
You are pampered when ill and he takes off work to take care of you. You find that you are being treated like a queen all in the name of love.
Sharing feelings, caring for each other, touching each other, understanding , protecting one another, attentive to moods, all part of this wonderful thing called love.
Once you become lovers, this feeling of love is capable of sending tingling, lightening bolts down your entire body from which you never want to escape.
When you are lying totally breathless and sweaty and spent from the total ecstasy of this thing called love, then you know that there is nothing quite like this feeling and never will be.
Whether you experience love only once in your life, or multiple times, there is never going to be another experience quite like it.
So, when you find love, cherish it with all your heart and with all your soul. Drink in all the madness that is part of it. Yes, live every day as if this love would be gone tomorrow and you would be left alone. Live this love as if you never wanted it to end, and if you and your partner both think the same, what a wonderful love experience that would be.
