I remember reading a piece of text that inspired my greatly. It read similar to the following; I have lived opposite an elderly couple for some years now.
It's not easy being an inspiring sort of person, whether it be to inspire yourself, others or both.
For those of you who know me well enough, you'll know that I enjoy the rain.
This is a disease. A disease I will not get. I refuse to become entangled in the mess. This heart it worries, but releases no emotion. The crowd it beckons, though respond I do not.
I had an entire cigarette last night. The feeling of power and masculinity was astounding. I won't take up smoking as a full-time hobby.

I've been watching The IT Crowd today, and on reflection it would appear that my life is exactly like that.
