Summer can be very hot,
We see the golden sun a lot.
It shines on us and makes us glow,
You never see the leaves blow.
Ice cold water makes us cool,
Children play in the paddling pool.
Adults smile and children laugh,
At the end of the day a refreshing, cool bath.
Summer is an enjoyable time,
That's why I made up this rhyme.
I can't wait for it to come,
Then I can have lots of fun.
