There's no rules so understanding it is never quite straight,
Why did we both say yes when it was easy to say no?
Maybe we thought the optimism of being together would eventually grow.
I feel we are getting stronger the more we meet,
My heart starts to flutter when you are near and it’s you that makes it skip to a new beat.
You know now that I'm an open book, a minority or one of the special few,
So please believe me when I say your smile is something I will always strive to pursue
Are you willing to take a risk and leave it all to fate?
