So Halloween is DEAD and gone,
Town's a SKELETON of streets,
Filled with mess from last night out,
With LIFELESS husks of sweets...
The BODIES of old gory masks,
The BONES of plastic mess,
Children full of sugared gunk,
Parents wishing they'd had less...
October KILLED by November's rage,
Cold BODIES and cold skin,
Now it's time for bulky clothes,
Six layers, none are thin...
And even though Halloween has gone,
The words still HAUNT your mind,
There's nothing like this celebration,
That you might ever find.
