They say you live once,
But not for a cat!
Nine-fold our lives,
So give us a pat!
We'll purr and meow,
And live in content,
Snoozing on laundry,
When energy's spent,
Buy us and love us,
Except we're not cheap,
But we're well worth it,
Plenty benefits to reap!
Our mews are delectable,
Paws turned just so,
Skitter on surfaces,
Ready to go!
At the end of our lives,
All nine's what I mean,
We'll grow a tad lazy,
Sleep, eat and preen!
Nine lives of wonder,
A cat is for ever,
A cat is for LIFE,
We'll live life together.
Meow!
