One moment I'm a wolf,
The next I am a man,
Cracking bones and changing skin,
As fast as I possibly can.
One moment in the forest,
Taking in the trees,
The next I'm on the ground,
Writhing on my knees.
One moment I am solid,
The next I'm I'm between,
Shaking the sweat from my eyes,
Trying to be unseen.
One moment I am silent,
A shadow in the glade,
The next I'm a convulsing mess,
Moving in the shade.
One moment I'm a person,
Still myself inside,
The next I am a grotesque beast,
And it doesn't want to hide.
One moment you won't fear me,
The next you'll run and scream,
And when I wake up, remembering nothing,
I'll think it all a dream.
