If you can bring yourself

Your much stronger than you know
Allow your inner rose to uncurl
Allow the shoot to grow
Inside you hides a beauty
But only if you can trust
If you don't it fades away
It slowly gives in to rust
Don't give up upon yourself
No matter what they say
The world may seem against you
But firm in yourself stay
If its you against the world
Rest assured you're not alone
You can count upon yourself
To accompany all you own
Those attributes are part of you
So don't ignore your heart
Dare to be yourself again
Find your missing part
Why bother with the following
Of the empty crowd?
You're filled with love and hope
Of that you should be proud
Don't be a mindless sheep
Resist the flow of the herd
You can be yourself if you
Believe in every word
Every word you speak
Deserves to have some credit
Even if it seems strange
That's only if you let it
Inside you there are fragments
Of truth and dark and light
Truth walks along the fine line
But Hope gives strength to fight
