Wasted Day

I'll sleep in late til the mood wakes me.
Then soak in the bath and let the water generate me
Boil a brew and poach an egg or two
Search the channels
for something new,
I'll make a nest 'round my favourite chair
With ashtray, sweets and control all there,
I'll plan my dinner, and supper and treats
Check my mail and review the tweets
Watch a film til I my eyes close, then,
Wake up, rewind and watch the end again.
I'll dim the lights and head for bed,
And wonder what I should have done instead.
