Oh how I love you my Purple Rose

I hope that my love for you is evidently shown

I may come off a little shy but don't get me wrong

There's nowhere I rather be than with you all night long

The wonders of the world don't hold anything to you

But you don't seem to see your beauty as I do

I don't love you because of the clothes from your head to your feet

I love you because of how much you mean to me

I didn't love you because I thought you were normal

I love you because I know you're original

I love how you can brighten the gloomiest days

And calm me when I'm in that state of disarray

I am completely covered with these scars and woes

But you still love me anyways, Purple Rose
