Love You Too: PART SIXTY THREE

"Hey!" Mollie said as I walked into my new room. "Nate brought your bags up earlier, so they're all ready to unpack! Your wardrobe is over there, and your bed is the one by the wall. It's bigger too, so you can have you know who in here" she said, winking at me. "We've got a private study next door, and a bathroom through here" she sad, pointing to the two doors.
"Slightly better than last year's isn't it?" I said, laughing at the huge expanse this room covered.
"The best thing is I'll be able to give you and Nate some alone time as the girls are just down the corridor!"
"M, promise me something now?"
"Sure"
"Don't ditch me for them? I'm going to be married, which may mean I become less of a good time, but I really don't want it to ruin our friendship"
"Are you kidding me? They've got nothing in you, they're just second best! I'll need someone to keep me company when you're on your honeymoon and stuff though" she said, unzipping my case. "Shall we get started?"
We continued to unpack all my belongings for about an hour, chatting away about Mollie's trip to the Caribbean, as we didn't want to discuss what had happened to me. After unpacking three massive suitcases, we reached the final one, which contained my little items that I liked to keep with me, and our food supply for our cupboard. We filled that first, marvelling at our new double sized space.
When we reached the bottom of this bag though, Mollie uncovered some items that caused her slight distress.
"Tiffany, why do you have these?" she said, holding up the baby's cardigan and the box.
"I needed them" I said, taking them and placing them on my bedside cabinet.
"T, you've got to let go. Those aren't going to help" Mollie said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"I know, but I can't just pretend she never existed"
"You're calling her 'she' now too?" Mollie noted.
"Yeah, it's nicer than 'it'"
"True. Okay, but I don't want them to make you upset" she said, wiping a tear from her eye.
"Don't worry. I'm fine" I said, stroking the cardigan one last time before placing it in the drawer.
"Well done" Mollie said, hugging me. Just as she did so, there was a knock at the door.
"Come in" we both said in unison.
Nate walked in, wearing just his swimming kit.
"Hello there" Mollie laughed, gazing at his dreamy abs.
"Eyes off my fiancé please!" I said, kissing him.
"Do you want to come swimming with me? It might do you some good to start it up again" he said, fiddling with the towel that was round his neck.
"Yeah okay, but do I have to wear the same thing as you to go down to the pool? I don't think I'll pull it off as well as you" I said, my head sinking sarcastically.
"I don't know, I think it'd work" he said, standing back and imagining it.
"Eww, no!" I said, taking my kit from on the floor and heading out after him. "You'll be okay?" I asked Mollie.
"Yeah, I've got a lesson in 5 minutes anyway! Have fun!" she said.
"It's the dream team, back in the pool again" Nate said, almost galloping down the stairs. I knew he'd missed swimming, as he hadn't been able to do as much of it with the summer's drama, and it was nice to see him enthusiastic about something for a change.
"More like the dream boy and his fiancé who's out of her depth!"
"Nice swimming pun there! But no, you're just as good baby" he said, already flexing his muscles as a warm up.
"Oh put them away!" I sarcastically begged. As we walked past the three second years from earlier, they began gazing at my half naked fiancé.
"Hey Nate?" I said, causing him to turn around. As he did so, I met his mouth with mine, kissing him tenderly so they could see who he belonged to. He smiled when I pulled away, and held my hand, carrying on walking. I turned to smile sweetly at them, totally oblivious to the pain I'd just caused them.
"How about we limit the number of enemies you can make per day to one?" he said, leaning down and kissing me again.
"Deal" I said, knowing those three weren't going to be the last of Nate's fan club that had taken a disliking to me.
