I often write about things that are inspired by things that are happening in my life, or just write randomly and hope it makes some sense at the end. Or sometimes when I'm doing something a poem or a song lyric will just come to me, and I won't be able to get it out of my head...

I think not thinking about it works best for me - I never set out to write something, they just pop up - if that makes sense? Looking doesn't help find them, for me anyway.

Take part in one of the theme competitions that run regularly.. But please keep your work your own or credit the source 👍

Ok thank you to everyone. And to burrfoot, I am sry about what happened for the watching over you poem. I was going to write down the website, but then my dad said I had to shut off my iPad for the night. I forgot all about it in the morning and hit "post." I also changed words, not to not plagerize, but just because I didn't like some words in there. Plus I thought, "Hey maybe I can change this, you know like I could put a little part of my writing there. I am sooo sorry for what happened. Please forgive me. It was an accident. I would NEVER intentionally plagerise. Again I am soooooo sorry!!@Burrfoot
