The moon, he watches,
The road that I walk.
I plod in silence,
No intention to talk.
I wander in darkness,
The trees floating by.
With his pale blue glow,
Lighting the way.
My thoughts are blank,
My expressionless stare.
I continue my journey,
Not giving a care.
I ignore the thoughts,
Swimming my mind.
Leaving the person I love,
And my worries behind.
My legs start to waver,
And I begin to get cold.
Red cheeks and nose,
Appeared while I strolled.
My stress has calmed down,
I'm heading back home.
I care once again,
No longer alone.
We embrace at the door,
I say sorry with a kiss.
He forgives, understanding,
We love too much for this.
Making up's the good bit,
Of our small fights and wars.
But we still love each other,
Even after all the roars.
