Bugs Under Our Feet (a Business Dreams Story)

Rat a tat tat
Rat a tat tat
Rat a tat tat

Board meetings,
I can see
how they earn't
their names,
this is just boring
Simple
Boring
Boredom

Rat a tat tat
Rat a tat tat
Rat a tat tat

As my fingers
They hit the desk
I stare intently
Almost too much so
At the glass
The glass of water
That stands in front of me.

Alright, you are dismissed

I swing myself up
Out of the chair
And into the corridor
Smashing past the tea lady
Knocking her flying
Into a filing cabinet

My trail
Of destruction
Carried down

A stack of papers flying
A trolley tipped
Tea spilling
As I head to the end
To my office...

Once there
I sit
At my shiny desk
It glimmers
In the flourecents

My first appointment
A waste of time
My second
Not worth a moment
Then my third
Flung out the door
Papers tailing after

Then my last
He walks in
Takes a seat.
And sits nervously
Fidgeting
Shaking

Then he asks

"well, what do you think, will you go into business with me?"

She looks up
from the desk
And she says

"Agree, this was meant to be! They will all be like bugs...

Under our feet"

Latrodectus

@Latrodectus

Hi, I'm Latrodectus, but you can call me Lat. I'm 14 and I love to write. I write at least 1 or 2 times a week and write everything from acrostics to opinion posts (and everything in-between) I'm also writing my first ever book/full story "The Darkworld Chronicles." I write to help find myself and who I really am and to help me deal with life's problems and stresses. I like drawing, acting, singing and gymnastics but don't like algebra, sport or swimming. My interests vary wildly (as do my works) and I feel it gives me some variety. Thanks for reading this, have fun in my world of writing :) ~Lat
