The Indigo Deep

Looking up from underneath, fractured starlight covers me, reflections taint as my heart sinks, and my head goes under...

And it's peaceful in the deep,
In this land where you cannot breathe,
No need to pray, no need to speak as my shoulders go under...

Slipping underneath, so cold but so sweet...

mind has fallen to peace,
Here where the past cannot hurt you,
Deep below in the indigo deep... Now my back has gone under..

Holding on but by a thread, so close but far from the land of the dead, my lungs begin to slow their moves... As my hips have gone under..

..And it's peaceful in the deep, in this land you cannot speak..

My last chance to fight the hands, that push me into the indigo deep... But for once I feel content.. As my ankles are under...

I should be afraid, should be fighting and kicking, no point now as my clock stops ticking... My life Is under..

...Here where the past cannot hurt you,
Deep below the indigo deep...

Latrodectus

@Latrodectus

Hi, I'm Latrodectus, but you can call me Lat. I'm 14 and I love to write. I write at least 1 or 2 times a week and write everything from acrostics to opinion posts (and everything in-between) I'm also writing my first ever book/full story "The Darkworld Chronicles." I write to help find myself and who I really am and to help me deal with life's problems and stresses. I like drawing, acting, singing and gymnastics but don't like algebra, sport or swimming. My interests vary wildly (as do my works) and I feel it gives me some variety. Thanks for reading this, have fun in my world of writing :) ~Lat
