I see your face here at my window,
Your eyes pierce my soul through the glass,
Your spirit, it haunts me for closure,
I won't let this moment e'er pass.
Your hand, falling soft on my pillow,
Your head, pressed against my cold arm,
I know and you know, in a moment,
That neither of us wishes harm.
If you were to show now beside me,
I'd drain your words into my mind,
If you were to rise from the ashes, my dear,
There would be a whole world we could find.
But, at least, I am blessed with my powers,
We both have to play our own role,
So for now, till' I cross through the veil,
I'll ever stay close to your soul.
