Chapter one The Spring. Everybody knows that every spring ducklings are born! But this spring a special one was born. Before she was born the farmer was in rage with this mother duck. And cursed her youngest duckling to be attacked by things through out her whole life. The farmer didn't know the duck know what he was saying. The mother was horrified! So as her last duckling hatched, she decided to name her a never she her again. So the mother named her Ellie. She hid her duckling from any sort of danger under some hay. As the mother duck walked away heart broken, she hoped for her little Ellie to be able to live safely as an abounded duckling.
