I'm writing now, and yet I know
That I am losing sleep
I'll regret it when my alarm rings
I'm sure it'll make me weep
It's funny how I'm wide awake
Pushing sleep away
When really I should shut my eyes
Encourage sleep to stay
So goodnight all, good morning too
I'm bursting at the seams

Life's a mystery.
So I am going to stay up all night. Listen to music in the dark. With no light. The only light coming from my phone. In the dark by myself, all alone.
Tired. Shouldn't have stayed up late. Talking flirting watching tv etc. Now I'm playing the price. Sleep is trying to win through. Eye lids are heavy. Struggling to say awake.
In that one moment sleep can take me. Willingly into its arms. Let me dream about winning. And a life without any harm. But once I set my head to rest. On a pillow I find the best.
It's early in the morning Or is it late at night. Either way, I cannot sleep, I know this isn't right!.
Sleep won't come,. As I toss and turn,. While sulking, alone,. My heart does yearn,. An ice block melting,. From hopes warm glow,. A wish for a summer,. A love without snow,. Let it be fruitful,.
I should be sleeping, I say to myself yet again. Yet my mind is racing round and round on pointless unimportant things.
For some reason I can't sleep. It's two am in the morning to where my life happens and my mind is still wandering to different places.
Why am I even up At this early time And what makes it worse Is I'm writing it in rhyme.
