Slaying of a Scaly Beast

The mightiest sword
that you ever did see,
stabbed the dragon's crest,
blood flowing down to it's knee.

It roared so loud,
that the knight did tumble.
The terrifying sound,
made the stony ground rumble.

It's wings reached out,
and it's claws scraped the floor.
But then it came to a halt:
the dragon was no more.

The knight was triumphant,
the scaly beast lay still.
his armoured hands were shaking,
as he turned away from his last kill.

Missing You

If only you could realise, How much I miss your face, The way you used to smile at me, And the way you taste. I miss the way you touched me, And the way you held me tight.
