Some words are so sharp that they slash through the air, yet others are so light they seem to float away like clouds. Certain words are used so much that they loose meaning. Some words fill you with a sense of achievement once you've pronounced them correctly. Most words are taken for granted. Some words remind you of places or people, but other words remain a mystery. There are no words that can be tamed or claimed as your own. Some words make you smile, yet others bring tears. Some words can truly hurt more than sticks and stones. There are beautiful words that take your breath away and ugly words that make you gasp. Some words compliment each other. New words can be fascinating and intriguing. Old words can spark as much curiosity as new ones. Words know no boundaries. Not one word is worthless. But above all, words are alive.
