Hangover

Waking up in my car,
I didn't get that far.
Sprawled in the back,
Confused, by the memory I lack.
What happened last night?
In the mirror a terrible sight.
A make up smeared face,
One that's clearly out of place.
Legs all bruised, shorts all ripped.
A heavy fall, and a pierced lip?
I must have drank a really lot,
To have already have forgotten this plot.
In the front something stirs,
A friend? wearing fake furs.
What happened to me?
We got drunk can't you see?
The empty bottles at my feet,
I remember them a treat.
Cigarettes and knotted hair,
We looked a right pair.
Now to risk a drive away.
To recover for the day.
Until then the night can wait.
Whist we recover from this state.
