I saw a large eye this morning.
Peered in at me, it's owner yawning.
Huge it was, round and blue.
Scared stiff, I didn't know what to do.
For then the earth started shaking,
So powerful it was death awakening.
And a large thumb seemed to appear on the sky,
Large than that big eye.
Muffled sounds, followed by a pop.
And all of a sudden the wind did stop.
As up above disappeared in a blink.
Just like a plug does in a kitchen sink.
The air started rushing up and fast.
In a dropping whirl wind? How long would this last?
Then suddenly with a almighty thump.
The world cracked in two, like a axe to a stump.
Then again the rushing happened once more.
And from this atmosphere we was tore.
The pieces of our world being shattered about.
As God dropped the jar, that stupid old lout!
