Sometimes we just need to cry
Into a pillow or someone's shoulder
Tears can come from anywhere, flying by
And the pain that brings them is as heavy as a boulder

Even stuffed animals can comfort you
Inanimate or not, friends really help
Sometimes you just don't know what to do
But someone always comes at the smallest yelp

Crying to somebody when you know they care
Is a wonderful way of finding solace
You can cry as hard as you dare
But you know they don't care if you're not flawless
