The teacher said alright,
The homework for tonight,
Is: I want you all to write.
So I wrote upon the table,
I wrote upon the floor,
I wrote up and down the hallway,
And upon the kitchen door,
I climbed up a ladder,
To where the ceiling was,
And wrote and wrote upon it,
'Til my hand could write no more.
Next day I ran to teacher,
And told him what I'd done,
But he wasn't very happy,
So I said alright and left.
(But it was fun!).
