I died today.
It was unexpected.
I didn't go alone though,
The whole world came with me.
It wasn't my choice.
I wasn't even there,
When the decision to burn me
Was made.
And those that triggered the deaths,
That started the rolling flames
Which swept across the earth,
They did not see what they did.
They did not see
And they did not care.

I love thunderstorms and teacups, and the last light of a candle in a darkened room and the smell of grass in the rain. But I love words more than any of those. With words, I can experience all of those things, even if the teacups are chipped and dirty, we're all out of candles, the grass has been cut and there won't be any rain for a week.
